Cette plante indig\u00e8ne am\u00e9ricaine, facile \u00e0 cultiver, produit des fleurs allant du bleu fonc\u00e9 au blanc \u00e0 la fin de l’\u00e9t\u00e9 et en automne, sur un feuillage d’un vert profond. Ces plantes ont souvent tendance \u00e0 se ressemer spontan\u00e9ment dans le jardin, et les jeunes plants peuvent \u00eatre ais\u00e9ment transplant\u00e9s lorsqu’ils sont encore de petite taille. Elle forme des touffes qui peuvent \u00eatre divis\u00e9es au d\u00e9but du printemps.
