The best recognised of water plants and for good reason! The orange, goblet shaped buds open to reveal glamorous star shaped flowers with golden anthers. It grows in water from 30-120 centimeters deep and likes large ponds and lakes. The leaves can be up to 20 centimeters in diameter and they take up a spread of 150 centimeters per plant.
