This water lily blooms with delightful, double, soft yellow flowers which are held some centimeters (up to 6 inches) above the water. They have a strong and pleasant fragrance, Green, slightly purplish speckled leaves. A strong water lily for a spot in the sun and rather deep water. The floating leaves may cover a water surface of 150 cm diam. Good winter-hardy in sufficiently deep water.
