Best described as a tussock forming grass, Its most stunning feature is its wide glaucous blue leaves, these are toped off in spring by chocolate brown arching flower heads. Can be grown as a groundcover in woodland areas or in a shade garden, as well as in the garden borders or even added to mixed planted containers for winter interest. It requires full sun to do well, in the shade it will loose a little of its blueness.
