This very enduring and abundant flowering white-flowered water lily produces cup-shaped blooms of ab. 15 cm diam. with bright yellow stamens. Perfectly winter-hardy as long as its root-stocks are protected against freezing. The flowers will open in the morning and close again late in the afternoon. It grows in water from 30-100 centimeters deep.
