Canna blooms all year round in the tropics. Here, they produce blooms starting from mid-July. It is also a splendid foliage plant. Some varieties have dark or striped foliage and provide a tropical touch to the border. Isabel Canna has cheerful, bright pink to salmon-coloured petals with green leaves.
